IMMUNOPOLY BOARD GAME

Immunopoly is an educational board game designed to help students understand the human immune system through fun interactive gameplay. Targeted for 11th-grade Biology, it explores key immune system concepts such as innate and adaptive immunity, lymphocyte function, and the role of vaccines. Players move across a game board using dice and pawns, encountering interactive squares that require answering immune-related questions or drawing special cards. Pathogen cards represent diseases like influenza, malaria, and tuberculosis which players must combat using their knowledge or booster cards like vaccines and antibiotics. Random cards introduce unpredictable events, while super cards simulate immune responses to challenges like mutations or reinfections. More than just reaching the finish line, the game encourages players to think critically and strategically as they defend the body against infections, making it an effective and engaging tool for learning about immunity.

This game was developed by Al Viana Fitria Ramadani, Febriyanti Istikomah, Fitriyani, and Galuh Mahardika to fulfill the assignment for the Gaming Learning in Biology course. Bachelor’s Degree Program in Biology Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University.
